3.0 Quack Quack... I'm a Duck! Shall I Wash Ducks In The Mud?

                            

This is a short story about my favorite song in my childhood, and I used to sing it whenever I was happy. I don't care about people surrounded me and I thought they enjoyed a lot.

I selected the most Popular Song that is being sung by 'Mercy Edirisingha' for this blog heading. This is a song of stage drama called ‘Thaarawo Igilethi” (“Flying Ducks”). However, I did not know it's meaning. By the way, it reveals the intelligence of a woman. So, I think by unintentionally I did a correct job. Lol...

My Childhood Theme Song! This was my favorite song in my childhood and, I used to sing this to present my skills. I did not care about the place and the people around me because it was my Favorite song. After a long time, I thought why did I love this song that much as contents of that song were not much suitable for a kid. It tells that a particular woman in that Story of Drama cannot be cheated by any men. Hah hah ha… At that time, nobody explained the meaning of that song, and, I knew it after watching that drama as a teen.

Then I thought why did I love this that much and then I remembered a few ducks who were in the river when I went there to have a bath with my parents. Continuously I tried to follow and catch them even I could not make it.  They were Black and White. Not sweet Yellow fellows. However, they looked very soft and pretty. They used to scream when I was following them and, they could keep a distance from me due to the Swimming Skills they have. Those days it was a dream for me to pet a real baby duck. I could not remember whether or not I had a soft toy Duck even.

My Hobby! This was one hobby I had at Bath Time and, other was jumping into the water from my father’s hand. I can imagine the pleasant feeling of a kid when she found a song about her favorite animals who supported to dream and play with nature. Therefore, this was my Song when I was happy. Today also I love this drama and song well thanks to that Childhood Memory. However, I hear this song in television programs or radio programs very randomly. I thought to download it from the internet and save it in my computer to watch whenever I want. That thought came to my mind when I was writing this article.

Today there should be a family or friends get together to have a river bath due to changes in schedules we all have. 

Sometimes it is not the difficulty of the schedule we have. I think we used to adapt to a more convenient Lifestyle and we forgot certain things that could offer valuable moments. The thing I cannot understand is: What is the difficulty we have to adapt and bind with these things as we already know the value? Why do we think that having a shower in a small washroom is better or healthier than bathing cool water in a beautiful natural setting? 

I think we do not care about the Environment, Nature or anything and we just need to maintain a lazy Lifestyle. We would like to do things with efficiency and quickly by applying our working practices day to day life as well. So, we do not have much difference from a robot. Isn’t it?

While moving back to the point, in such a Family Get Together, there was a nephew of my relative sibling. That little one accompanied a toy scoop and, he played a great deal with sand by tossing sand forward and backward. In this condition, he couldn't see Ducks or Fowls in the stream except for a few crows. What he saw was a couple of individuals who were mining sand in the waterway. Therefore, I think a little one may believe that those grown-ups also were playing as him.

Current Situation! By going through a couple of decades, today we have a contrary biological Community. If we talk with our parents, we can envision past days up to some degree with relative assortments.  As my father had seen, those days there was a major sanded region that isolated the stream into two parts. But today we can't see even a piece of information and, there are numerous openings in the waterway because of less sand. I think one day we may have to lament once our next generation has to face different issues because of these destructive changes.

I don't realize whether I'm imparting exhausting stuff to all of you by taking something different. I think it will communicate a Message to society up to some degree with my story. On the off chance that you feel something awful, kindly do let me know. You are taking the time to read this.

Go Back To The Song! So, if we turn back to this Song again, this was available in one of the soundtracks which have recorded by my Father. I think I was about a three-year-old kid and I have hardly managed words of this song. The ridiculous piece of the song was 'If I did as so, then you will say, I'm a silly Woman'. In that track, I used to sing a similar sentence a couple of times over and over, which made me entertaining to other people. Another main important thing about this memory was there was no complaint for me to sing this song.

Dogs Day! One day there were lots of people in the yard and, they accompanied a cluster of dogs. I became acquainted with that they came to immunize their puppies and, there was one specialist also. So, It's a day for Dogs and me. I used this song to entertain them and, I thought it was my obligation to treat guests. I think my mother felt disgrace about me. But I could proceed with my Saga with no inconveniences as my father was at home. I still remember the way I present this by riding a little Bicycle.

Along these lines, I figure all of you can envision the circumstance with symphony music of ten to twelve canines. Those doggies bolstered me a great deal with ambient sounds.
